Whereas the home shirt takes on a more traditional feel, Warrior have given their designers a licence to get creative on the new away strip. Combining geometric patterns with three-tones of Porto blue, the shirt channels influences from different design eras to produce a visually striking kit that can't be accused of playing safe.
The Porto 2014/15 away shirt features all of Warrior's moisture wicking technology and the kit is finished off with aviator blue shorts and socks, with diagonal blue stripes.
Richard Wright, General Manager of Warrior Football (not the veteran goalkeeper), said: “Our design team took a set palette of colours and addressed the challenge of designing a shirt which captured the fighting spirit of FC Porto. Developed with Warrior War-Tech to give unstoppable on-pitch performance, it’s a kit designed as a blue print for success.”
