Umbro x Blackburn : Football News : Soccer Bible

A relationship forged in Northern Quarters, Blackburn Rovers have announced Umbro as their technical supplier for the next five years.

In sporting solid roots and tailored success, there's something in the history of each of these parties that holds heritage close to its history. It's a partnership that will see the double diamond of Umbro donned once more on all on-pitch products for Rovers’ mens, ladies and Academy teams, as well as training and leisurewear for both players and fans.

Rest assured it'll offer Umbro the chance to flex their creative sole that so regularly brings a touch of heritage though contemporary class to football's woven proceedings.

Rovers wore Umbro kits as early as 1974 and as recently as 2013. Established in 1875, Rovers are one of only three clubs to have been both a founder member of the Football League and the Premier League, and one of just six clubs to be crowned Premier League champions.

Excited to see these two combine once more, the fresh kits for the 2016/17 season will naturally land this summer. Game on for the double diamond.
