After launching in "Deep Cobalt/Fiery Coral" Umbro were quick to turn to their heritage roots by slapping an all black design on the Medusae, and now they've opted for an all white vibe as that bond between the brand and boot traditionalists remains as strong as ever, helped by the brand making a smooth transition into a new era. Umbro are keeping things clean this spring as the Medusae will sit alongside a white edition of the Velocita II boot to land as their new on-pitch collection.
Weighing in at 185g the Medusae could well be considered as a speed silo, but it's a boot that is equally as centered around comfort by combining the touch, comfort and fit of premium leather with the ‘speed’ of a lightweight boot. The unique combination of a k-leather vamp with a performance mesh mid-foot cage is the first football boot of its kind and Umbro have found a new era of heritage boot appreciator with a boot that could be labelled as a modern day Speciali.
