Umbro have brought the funk with their latest set of releases, showing a real sense of purpose and belief to revitalise the brand. Keeping hold of their heritage card on this occasion, the British brand show they’re not afraid to mash things up by reaching for a unique set of pop colours that bring new life to the Speciali 4 and UX-1 Concept silos for 2015.
The new "Blue Atoll/Pink Glo/Black” colourway blends a unique mix of colours that will give the boots a bold on-pitch presence. Boasting a two-tone upper, dubbed “Blue Atoll” and “Pink Glo”, the bright colours mix with a black soleplate to create an overall design that shows real tenacity form Umrbo. Packing plenty of tech, the UX-1 is made from a one-piece upper made from a light, breathable material that features a sleek webbing across the medial and lateral areas to help aid first touch.
Umbro continue to evolve their A-Frame system that's been tweaked to offer more stability and security. Acting as a backbone, a dual density cage and soft protective spines cushion your heel and safeguards your Achilles. The outsole has been designed with ten forefoot studs spaced to reduce pressure and increase comfort. Four conical heel studs create superior traction, making it easier for you to change direction fast.
The "Blue Atoll/Pink Glo/Black” Umbro UX-1 Concept is available at selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
