Just as players report back for pre-season and start to put the hard yards in, Umbro have unveiled a new boot, the GeoFLARE. As we revealed yesterday the new football boot is targeted at the attacking player and comes in a bright Black/Lava Pink colourway.
Umbro say the GeoFLARE is designed for the firestarter on the pitch, the attacking player who wants to change the game. The new boot sits alongside the Geometra, Speciali and GT as the British brand's fourth boot silo.
Built from a lightweight microfiber upper, the boot features an enhanced re-ground rubber print on the toe to help control the ball in wet weather conditions while not compromising on design. Control is pushed further by the embossed medial pass pad, created purely for enhanced ball dampening and control.
A new re-engineered lightweight insole has been developed for the GeoFLARE alongside a high visibility neon sprint plate for grip and comfort. The boot certainly looks the part and all the tech talk points towards a great boot, we're certainly looking forward to putting them through their paces.
As well as releasing the GeoFLARE, Umbro have given a black/lava pink makeover across the Speciali and the Geometra in preperation for the 2013/13 season. Stayed tuned to SoccerBible for the reveal of those new colourways very soon.
The Umbro GeoFLARE will be available from selected online stockists including Pro Direct Soccer. What are your thoughts on the new Umbro GeoFLARE? Let us Know. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
