It's a new month, so that must mean a new colourway for the Umbro Speciali football boots. We're big fans of this heritage football boot and can't remember how many times we've said "classy" and "stylish" - and this new White/Gold Speciali is no different!
Whilst Umbro experimented with some more inventive editions of the Speciali football boots. From the initial Black/White colourway, to the impressive all-white and all-red England
editions, as well as the limited edition customized sole plate
versions. So here is the latest release - White/Gold/Silver...
The upper of the Umbro Speciali football boots is constructed from a
super-soft kangaroo leather, the best natural leather available because
the material's fibres are densely packed. The benefits of which, are
not just the suppleness of the leather and comfort, but also the
durability of the material. Further prolonged by the Speciali's unique
stitching patterns, which hold the leathers shape and maintain
performance.
There are plenty of Speciali wearers who we think will look great in these new boots - Michael Owen, JOhn Terry, Deco, Pepe and of course Darren Bent, who is still leading the
Speciali charge in the SoccerBible Boot Race.
The Umbro Speciali football boots have been in existence for a number
of years now, but this latest incarnation seems to have made a big
impression with the players. The SoccerBible has been fortunate enough
to interview Deco and Darren Bent,
both players highlighted the comfort and softness of the boot, how
great it fits and how it adapts to your feet to provide excellent ball
touch.
Movement is further enhanced by the fast-flex grooves featured on the
sole-plate of the Umbro Speciali football boots. Positioned to the
front of the boot, the flex in the sole-plate gives excellent freedom
of movement, and helps with acceleration as you can be on your toes
quicker!
Complimenting the soft upper and central lacing system is Umbro's
unique 'A' frame design, probably the stand-out feature of the Speciali
football boots, and finished with a gold trim.
The 'A' frames are on
both sides of the boots and wrap around the foot to lock the solid heel
counter into position, ensuring the support and good fit needed during
movement and ball striking.
Not only is the upper soft, to give great touch and feel for the ball,
but it also features Umbro's unique 'A' frame design. Probably the
stand-out feature of the new Speciali football boots, the 'A' frames
are on both sides of the boots and lock the solid heel counter into
position, to ensure a good fit and assist running whilst preventing the
boot from rubbing.
The new White/Gold/Silver Umbro Speciali football boots tick
the boxes for both traditional and modern boot fans with this classic colourway, but perhaps more importantly they are proven to perform at
the highest level.
Available to pre-order now ahead of a 1st May release, the Umbro Speciali's retail for around £80 GBP and will be available in both SG and FG sole options.
