Here is the latest colourway for the new Umbro Speciali football boots, which you can expect to see on the feet of a host of Premier League stars. Umbro have put all their endorsed players in the Speciali football boots as part of their 'What's so special about the Speciali?' campaign, and the Swan White/Red is their latest boot to hit the pitches.
The new swan white/red Umbro Speciali football boots have already been worn by England captain John Terry while on international duty. And the list of star players performing in Umbro's new Speciali football boots makes for impressive reading, as it includes Michael Owen, Deco, Darren Bent, Gael Clichy, Michael Mancienne and Real Madrid's Pepe.
So now, it is the SoccerBible's turn to find out what's so special about the Speciali? Well, the first thing we can tell you is that these football boots are really comfortable, as the upper is made from a super-soft premium kangaroo leather. The entire fore-foot area is soft and features a uniquely stitched striking area to hold the leather's shape and maintain performance, which Umbro state has been inspired to help players such as Deco affect the game quicker with their ball movement.
Not only is the upper soft, to give great touch and feel for the ball, but it also features Umbro's unique 'A' frame design. Probably the stand-out feature of the new Speciali football boots, the 'A' frames are on both sides of the boots and lock the solid heel counter into position, to ensure a good fit and assist running whilst preventing the boot from rubbing.
Movement is further enhanced by the fast-flex grooves featured on the sole-plate of the Umbro Speciali football boots. Positioned to the front of the boot, the flex in the sole-plate gives excellent freedom of movement, and helps with acceleration as you can be on your toes quicker!
These new Umbro Speciali football boots are currently available for around £80 GBP, which is a relatively cheap compared to other pro-level football boots currently available on the market. And we can expect to see Umbro ambassador John Terry continuing to wear the Swan White/Red editions as he proudly leads the England team.
