Here are the completely unique SX Valor II Ultra football boots, an innovative new boot that shows Umbro can do modern as well as heritage design.
The upper of the Umbro SX Valor II Ultra football boots combine the comfort and natural feel of leather, with a synthetic fore-foot area that provides a unique boot-to-ball contact. The Ultra has a 'touch control' system which has been designed to enhance ball contact for feel and grip, whilst offering additional power and swerve.
On areas of the boot predominantly used for touch and control, such as the in-step, Umbro have used leather and a synthetic material which benefits from a print application for a more tacky surface assisting control.
The 'touch control' system is engineered from a webbed rubber coating (as shown above), across the forefoot
area which gives a more aggressive ball contact when striking the ball. And due to individual rubber panels, extra friction is created to increase accuracy and swerve.
Available in both a firm ground and soft ground sole-plate, the Umbro SX Valor II Ultra football boots feature a visible wishbone. Which provides stability and strength from the core of the boot.
The Umbro SX Valor II Ultra is a boot that combines natural and synthetic materials, with technology covering the entire fore-foot area to generate increased power and accuracy. For this reason it follows the same design principles as the Nike Laser and adidas Predator football boots. It would certainly be a unique boot choice, but at £120 GBP a very reasonable boot choice.
