Here are the brand new second generation Reebok Valde Pro football boots. Featuring a redesigned Power Unit, the Valde Pro II football boots are the latest addition to enter the power boots market.
Reebok are the latest brand to launch new football boots, following recent releases from Nike, adidas and Puma. So, is the boot choice of Iker Casillas and Andriy Shevchenko a real contender in the power market.
The new Reebok Valde Pro II football boots incorporate innovative technology with a natural supersoft kangaroo leather. The leather is positioned to give great ball touch and feel, and as it is really soft provides a comfortable fit around the boots collar. These new Valde Pro II football boots also have a unique two-tone colourway, which alternates on the instep and outstep of both the left and right boots.
The Valde Pro II football boots really come into their own when striking the ball, as they feature Reebok's Power Unit Technology in both the sole plate and upper. Designed to deliver more power, swerve and accuracy, the upper features a "TPU injection onto a one-way stretch ballistic nylon" which works in conjunction with the sole unit, so the boot absorbs less power when striking the ball, meaning your shots are truer, harder and faster.
The Power Unit Technology continues in the sole plate with strategically positioned carbon fibre inserts. These are placed in the forefoot of the sole plate, and allow only a one-directional flex of the boot. This technology works on the same principle as the adidas Predator Powerspine, as it accommodates the natural movement of the foot but reduces deformation when striking the ball, so the metatarsals don't bend back unnecessarily far to not waste energy and power.
The new Reebok Valde Pro II football boots have a central lacing system, and the ventilated insole features Reebok’s new Smoothfit lining. The Valde Pro II football boots boast an exceptional fit, comfort, feel for the ball and powerful technology. They will be available from 1st December although they can be pre-ordered from 1st November, and they fall into the same price bracket as power football boots at around £130 GBP.
