PUMA evoSPEED SL II "Black/White/Red Blast" : Football Boots : Soccer Bible

PUMA quickly make the step from international to domestic football by rolling out their new evoSPEED collection for the upcoming 2016/17 season. Sticking with the Tricks design, it's a trio of Black, White and Red Blast for their players to kick off the new campaign in.

The new wrap will be spread across the full evoSPEED family, that includes the evoSPEED SL II (featured here), the SL Leather, SL S and evoSPEED 1.5. Both heels are block coloured in striking PUMA Red Blast with a geometric pattern fading into a black vamp on the left shoe and a contrasting white on the right. Trademark style for the lead on pitch colourway, but supporting colourways will move away from the split Tricks design.



Tech-wise, it's the same boot as the Tricks design worn at EURO 2016 and the Copa America. The second generation PUMA evoSPEED SL is constructed with a Japanese microfibre upper material and an updated laser-cut SPEEDFRAME structure to optimise the boot’s shape further. Additional performance features of the SL-S II can be found in the outsole. The SPEEDTRACK spine provides the balance between stability in the midfoot and flexibility in the forefoot, enhancing both speed and agility. The lightweight nylon outsole’s stud configuration is composed of a mix of bladed and conical studs, providing increased levels of stability, traction and acceleration.



A crowd pleasing colourway, for sure. Shades of the first ever Nike CTR360 Maestri launch on the left and EURO 2012 Clash Vapor on the right, and that can never be a bad thing. Strong start to the season for PUMA, built upon by the launch of the evoTOUCH boot. A new three-punch combo for the big cat and he's hitting harder than ever.
