Central London was the stage as PUMA followed up their split-design of the 2014 World Cup with another trademark aesthetic for their next-generation evoSPEED 1.5 and evoPOWER 1.3. Spotlights, paint grenades and DJ sets laid down the tone and matched the vibrant nature of the design as we were guided through PUMA's footballing assault course to put their new showcase pieces through their paces.
After getting to grips with the updated evoSPEED it was time to join Falcao for some shooting drills – firing balls at hanging paint targets in the evoPOWER. Rather than opting for alternative colourways for each silo, PUMA have matched them to ensure maximum on-pitch exposure come kick off next month.
Kicking off the Euro 2016 party in style, PUMA had Thierry Henry on hand to talk us through his big tournament experiences with France and how football footwear has progressed at such a rapid rate since his playing days. Cards firmly on the table, first blood to PUMA.
