PUMA hit 2013 running with the release of two new evoSPEED colourways. Alongside the launch of the Graphic Yellow/Blue/Scarlet colourway, PUMA bring something completely different to the table in the shape of the super-sleek White/Silver design. If speed boots need to be bright, PUMA are breaking that rule in fantastic fashion!
The PUMA evoSPEED line has quickly been popularized by some of the hottest striker's in world football including Sergio Aguero and Radamel Falcao. The latest White/Silver colourway lands as part of the brands Spring 2013 collection. PUMA know all about vibrant colourways, but take that away and you're left with something even better!
A balanced blend of lightweight, flexible and comfortable fit, the White/Silver PUMA evoSPEED 1 football boots are released in synthetic and firm ground option only. Blending shades of Yellow, Blue and Scarlet, the upper of the evoSPEED Graphic features a bespoke texture which sets this shoe apart from the range.
The upper offers the standardized synthetic touch and fit, utilizing a single-layer microfibre material to minimize weight and maximize touch, flexibility and reactivity. The one-piece outsole provides stability and support through the external heel counter, and the stud configuration and flex at the fore of the outsole provide traction and acceleration.
The anatomically engineered lightweight one-piece outsole provides stability and support, utilising high-tech materials to minimize weight and to maximize its flexibility and reactivity. The Puma evoSPEED 1 features an external heel counter which secures an excellent heel fit and the new Puma evoAptoLast which provides an industry leading fit.
In contrast to the retired v1 series, the new evoSPEED 1 utilises a newly configured moulded stud configuration that replaces the pointed stud design used on the v1.11. Puma no longer use a carbon-fibre plate in the forefoot, while their UNI technology has also been left on the cutting room floor in a more stripped-back design.
The lacing system has also been designed for performance, with the lace material tightly knit and closely bonded for a lower profile across the loop holes for a cleaner ball strike, but then the material is looser and more flexible towards the ends where they are tied.
The new White/Silver PUMA evoSPEED 1 football boots are available to pre-order now ahead of a January 4th release. On limited release in synthetic, the soccer boots can be ordered for around £135 GBP / €160 EURO / $165 USD (FG).
