PUMA hold nothing back with the launch of the new Silver/Green evoSPEED 1. Joining the exclusive list of metallic football boots, the latest evoSPEED design isn't one for your boot traditionalist! If a boot can look fast...this is it!
Launching this October, the Silver/Green PUMA evoSPEED 1 is a striking addition to the brands super-light speed range. They've quickly become one of Europe’s deadliest speed boots. Let us know what you think of the latest colourway.
PUMA speed boots have always maintained a unique identity. The evoSPEED line has taken this style & flair to new levels. Since launching earlier this year the evoSPEED has been adopted by the world's top strikers. Mario Gomez, Sergio Aguero & Radamel Falcao have put the evoSPEED along side the big-hitters of the speed world.
One of the most noticeable changes that came with the launch of the Puma evoSPEED was the introduction of a new lightening formstripe. The signature graphic emphasizes speed and harkens back to Usain Bolt. It is featured across the complete Puma evoSPEED footwear collection.
The anatomically engineered lightweight one-piece outsole provides stability and support, utilising high-tech materials to minimize weight and to maximize its flexibility and reactivity. The Puma evoSPEED 1 features an external heel counter which secures an excellent heel fit and the new Puma evoAptoLast which provides an industry leading fit.
In contrast to the retired v1 series, the new evoSPEED 1 utilises a newly configured moulded stud configuration that replaces the pointed stud design used on the v1.11. Puma no longer use a carbon-fibre plate in the forefoot, while their UNI technology has also been left on the cutting room floor in a more stripped-back design.
Even the lacing system has been designed for performance, with the lace material tightly knit and closely bonded for a lower profile across the loop holes for a cleaner ball strike, but then the material is looser and more flexible towards the ends where they are tied.
The Silver/Green PUMA evoSPEED football boots are available to order now from selected online stockists with the boots retailing worldwide for around £140 GBP / €165 EURO / $170 USD (synthetic) and £150 GBP / €180 EURO / $200 USD (leather).
