PUMA are utilizing an effective colour-scheme to create one of their best looking PowerCat boots to date. The range has never had a standard look, enabling PUMA to mix and match colours for an effective look on pitch. And combine this with the construction of the boot upper, and you have a boot that can either look predominantly white or black, but with a nice splash of yellow.
The PowerCat range can boast come big-hitting established names in the game; Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick, Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini are the prime examples. But the boots are increasingly appealing to younger players, such as Marco Reus and Emmanuel Frimpong.
As a performance power boots, the PUMA PowerCat 1.12 features advanced PUMA technologies. The boot is a combination of engineering and comfort, and with a significant design overhaul to the previous incarnation, now looks and feels comfortable in the modern game with versatility remaining a strongest assets.
The stand-out feature of the new PowerCat 1.12 soccer cleats is the 3D DUO Power Shooting Technology, applied to the kicking area on the inside of the boot. Made from an innovative thermoplastic material with two different degrees of hardness, the boot has the advantage of being both highly responsive with extremely high rebound properties.
The newly created PUMA 3D PST DUO technology enables improved grip on the ball through its exposed elements, and instead of absorbing the energy it increases the kicking power of the player. The kicking area employs a soft K-Leather while the lightweight microfiber material in the lateral quarter supports the midfoot and helps to keep the weight of the boot to a minimum.
