With the recent release of the Puma King Finale and the Puma Mexico Finale football boots, Puma have commissioned these three posters to celebrate the years the different incarnations were 'The King Of'. Since its birth, the King Boot has been an iconic part of the Puma Collection, and it’s the only permanent member.

Worn by some of the greatest players on this planet, during some of the most notable moments in football history; it was the boot that Pelé wore when he cemented his legendary status, as the King of 1970 and led Brazil to a FIFA World Cup Finals win as well as being named ‘Player of the Tournament’ in the World Cup in Mexico.
Four years later the King of 1974 was a certain Johan Cruyff who was named ‘Player of the Tournament’, and ‘European Player of the Year for the second time in a row and showed the world what total football meant.
It was also the boot that Maradona had on his feet when he was the King of 1986 and went down in history as he passed six players to score, what has been voted ‘The Goal of the Century’.
As we look to the future Puma football boots, we can only imagine what innovative designs and technology will be incorporated. But here at the SoccerBible, we think it's important that much like with a motor car, you never forget the heritage and evolution of the football boot, which is what makes these Puma posters so great.
