The latest Puma v1.10 football boots are part of Puma’s collection of new boots introduced for the New Year. The newest addition to the Puma v1 speed boot series is these White/Pompeian Red/Black Puma v1.10 football boots.
The Puma v1.10 football boots have begun 2011 in good fashion with this great looking new color way. Color ways are the hot topic at the moment with the new adizero boots causing debate but Puma have kept it simple with the white/red/black combination that comes together to create a clean look. The performance of the Puma v1.10 comes from synthetic material that makes up the boots upper, delivering great touch, feel and strike of the ball.
Covering the main upper from back to front, the microfiber material provides a great striking surface, and is covered with a print application to increase friction, ball control and accuracy. Similar to thin leather, the microfiber material is soft and flexible, but has the advantages of being highly abrasive resistant.
Unlike previous Puma v1.10 football boots, the microfiber material usually only seen at the front toe area, continues throughout the boot.
The uppers of the Puma v1.10 football boots are usually a combination of synthetic and textile materials.
The striking design feature of these Puma v1.10 soccer shoes is the Puma Red and black form-stripe. Engineered from thermo-plastic, the form-stripe is not just aesthetically pleasing but its texture offers enhanced ball grip, and supports the boots shape and structure.
The Puma v1.10 football boots feature a central lacing system, which improves the fit and combines with a comfortable last and insole. The boot replicates Puma's AptoLast, which was used during the v1.08 series.
Speed performance comes from the one-piece outsole, with carbon-fiber embedded into the forefoot to distribute pressure and react to the foot flexing. In the midfoot of the sole-plate there is a TPU reinforcement (shaped as a 'V') to help with stability and prevent the midfoot bending.
The v1.10 range is the result of a very simple design brief; give confidence to be the fastest, which Puma have achieved through a combination of materials working in unison to create this lightweight speed boot. Anyone who has had the pleasure of playing in these will know Puma have achieved this.
