The success of the leather adiZero football boots, has really brought leather speed boots to the fore as a performance boot. But where the adiZero falls down the v1.10 excells, and that is Puma's use of kangaroo leather and to be fair to Puma they have a track record for releasing popular leather editions.
There is no denying that as far as natural materials are concerned, kangaroo leather is the number one material. The fibres of the material are more densely packed, which makes it more soft and comfortable, as well as being more durable. Resulting in a boot upper that offers a great touch and feel for the ball.
When you lace the K Leather Puma v1.10 football boots up, they not only fit well but are extremely comfortable. Puma have spent years developing their unique AptoLast, which every boot is formed around at construction level. Complimenting the boot last and fit, is the redesigned collar and central lacing which has a soft leather and material tongue.
The toe area and lace-cover of the Puma v1.10 K leather soccer shoes is held together by a thermo-plastic material, maintaining the boots' shape and structure. The two pieces combine brilliantly for ball touch and control, and the kangaroo leather gives you great feel for the ball when passing short or long, or striking the ball.
The K leather White/Black/Blue Puma v1.10 football boots, once again implement the v1's speed technology through the unique outsole. The outsole provides a solid and stable heel counter made from TPU material, which moulds into the sole-plate. Embedded into the forefoot of the sole-plate is a carbon-fibre plate, positioned to distribute pressure and react to the foot flexing. Finishing off the outsole is a unique stud configuration, mounted on a lightweight frame, and shaped for smooth ground penetration to optimise traction.
The price of Puma's speed technology combined with a performance K leather upper is an additional £10 GBP, making these new Puma v1.10 K leather football boots available for around £130 GBP / $195 USD, which is quite a reasonable price in the current boots climate. And this great looking White Pearl/Black/Puma Royal Puma v1.10 K leather football boots colourway is available to pre-order now ahead of a 12th July release date.
