The SoccerBible unveils the next colourway for the Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots, with full and exclusive images of the stylish Black/Red/Puma Silver PowerCat colourway...
The Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are a great combination of engineering and comfort, and it's obvious that Puma are making great strides with their boot development. These Black/Red/Silver editions are more in keeping with a traditional colourway, but the boot is anything but traditional, combining a host of materials and technologies.
The Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are a genuine performance and comfort boot, with a completely unique look. They've already gained pro support from the likes of Michael Carrick, Peter Crouch, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Shay Given and Nemanja Vidic who have all converted to the PowerCat.
For comfort, fit and ball feel, Puma have gone with a natural material and used a supersoft, premium kangaroo leather for the boot's upper. To enhance ball touch, increase the kicking area and improve pressure distribution, the Puma PowerCat soccer shoes feature an off-centred lacing system, as favoured by many top pro players.
To improve fit, the boots have been formed around Puma's new anatomically-shaped PowerLast, an evolution of the Puma AptoLast. Which once again follows the foot's natural contours for a great fit, but provides more volume in the forefoot and instep allowing the upper to mould to the players foot. To further improve fit and comfort, the anatomically shaped removable sockliner provides cushioning and shock absorption.
The standout feature of the PowerCat football boots is the Puma 3D Power Shooting Technology (Puma 3D PST) located and built-into the boots kicking area. Designed to increase shooting power, while maintaining ball touch and feel, the 3D PST achieves increased shot power through its extremely high rebound properties, absorbing more than the typical amount of energy upon ball impact and releasing more power with every shot.
The Black/Red/Puma Silver Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are an excellent follow up to the previous colourways. Comfortable yet protective, Puma have brought some unique technology within the competitive power and accuracy market, and have so far held their own amongst some of the big hitters in this category.
The new Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are available to pre-order now and are expected to be released 12th July, and you should expect to see them priced around £125 GBP / $185 USD when they hit selected stores.
