These stealthy football boots can boast the Premier League and La Liga top goalscorer! Well not these exactly, but the Puma v1.08 football boots range are worn by both Nicolas Anelka and Samuel Eto'o and these camouflage pair are the latest release.
Of course these aren't the first pair of camouflage football boots Puma have created, who can forget their v1.06 football boots with the grass print design! So is the theory to once again camouflage a players feet into the pitch, or are these just another pair of eccentric Puma v1.08 football boots?
Puma v1.08 football boots are quality lightweight speed boots which have a unique design, stitch pattern and off-centre lacing which increases the contact and kicking area.
The camouflage upper is made from a thin lightweight textile material, and is reinforced with microfibre to increase protection and durability. The optimal strike zone features a unique dot grip texture to create additional friction and ball contact, generating extra power and swerve.
The outsole of the Puma v1.08 football boots is two-piece to assist movement, with an integrated TPU heel counter offering support and stability.
Available in both firm and soft ground the v1.08 football boots retail for around £120, the same as a Vapor IV although the v1.08 is a slightly lighter football boot!
Puma have said the on-pitch debut for these football boots is 10th March, so we're expecting to see Nicolas Anelka turn out for Chelsea against Juventus in the Champions League, having previously worn the black/yellow, pink/black and red/black Puma v1.08 football boots!
