'Not Only for Football Fans' : Photography : Soccer Bible

The undeniable bond we bridge with our favourite football shirts is truly unique. They stand as an outward reflection of who we are while offering a slice of who we support. With a streetwear wardrobe accommodating our favourite polyester piece of perfection, this photography series by Emanuele Ferrari brings a collection of shirts together with 35mm fashion.

A collaborative piece with nss magazine that sees a collection of models shirt up in a varied measure of kits from generations gone before us. With both a gloss and a grain, this almost panini sticker-like collection of shots puts the shirts front and centre though the provocative nature of the composition adds some depth and character. That Manchester United shirt in particular, time capsuling an era in which the club reigned supreme whilst with Umbro, maintaining an evolutionary feel to kit design. This shirt in particular, had a zip as part of it's collar after all. Drop in the Champions League badges and a treble winning momentous season and you've got many a memory served up in shirt form.



This styled drop of images perhaps fitting for a week in which we saw Kendall Jenner leaving the gym sporting a classic Kappa Italy warm up jacket - the emergence of football in the street style scene is wholly evident. Better yet, whether you're Gigi Hadid or straight up anyone, and you like to wear your colours with a touch of customisation then there's few better places to start than with a PSG shirt. We all have a connection to the game and in some cases it comes with the need to express that in tailored form.



Just a decade ago, the club kit would be a piece of clothing to restrict pub or club entry. In a contemporary game though, it's prime. Every day is a football day, dress up for the occasion.
