Kicking off the week in standard fashion, we recap the past seven days of football to pick out our selection of the latest, oldest, most custom and signature boots on show. Into September we go and brands are beginning to chow their colours for Autumn. Let's go...

Samir Nasri (Sevilla) adidas X 16.1

When Samir Nasri moved to Sevilla it was all rosy. A New Balance player at a New Balance club, perfectly aligned. Thing is, it's never that straight forward with Samir Nasri and the ex-Manchetser city midfielder has switched out of his New Balance Visaro boots and into a makeshift pair of adidas X 16.1 boots. Nasri blacked out his X boots before his side's trip to Bilbao but the wet surface revealed what lied beneath.

Antonio Sinha (Toluca) Under Armour Spotlight 2.0

Under Armour kicked off the new week with a Camo update on their Spotlight 2.0 boot. Worn first by Toluca's Antonio Naelson Sinha, the sandstorm camouflaged wrap gave Under Armour's youngest silo a fresh look as they enter Autumn. Head to toe in Under Armour, the brand have built a strong presence in South America while forcing themselves into the ultra-competitive European market too. Out this week, the Camo Spotlight. A contradiction on words but a smart design.

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) adidas X 16.1

It would be hard to argue that adidas didn't have one eye on the Real Madrid strip when they were designing the new Stellar Pack. Released in white, black and gold and set for a Champions League debut on the feet on the Champions League holders this week. An almost perfect match for the famous whites of Madrid – no wonder Karim Benzema couldn't wait until midweek to get hold of them. Scoring start too, bonus.

Kevin-Prince Boateng (Las Palmas) Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite

Kevin-Prince Boating has been experimenting with his boot archives this season. Now plying his trade at Las Palmas, KPB's latest throwback was the white/red Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite boot, complete with carbon-fibre sole plate. A breakthrough boot for the Swoosh when originally launched in December 2011, the Tiempo Elite featured Flywire technology in the upper and a lighter soleplate with a traditional conical stud configuration.

Renato Tapia (Feyenoord) Umbro UX Accuro

Umbro have had a lot of success with their Velocita and Medusae silos, but their unsung hero from their arsenal is arguably the UX Accuro – anyone who's worn a pair would agree. The youngest of the Umbro line-up, the UX Accuro is centred around control and will no doubt be picked up more frequently as word gets around. Feyenoord's Renato Tapia was flying the flag last week as his side beat FC Oss 4-1.

Bas Dost (Sporting Lisbon) adidas ACE 16.1

Set to join the adidas Stellar Pack later next month is a predominantly black collection where adidas have flipped the colours from their latest release. A number of players have already managed to get hold of the alternative look, including Manchester United's Ashley Young, who was wearing the X edition this weekend and Sporting Lisbon's Bas Dost, who has opted for the ACE 16.1.

Mauricio Cuero (Santos) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

Another player rapping a Camo vibe in Mexico at the weekend was Santos man Mauricio Cuero. Taking things back to the end of last season, Cuero snagged a pair of military-esque Nike Mercurial Superfly IV boots. Launched in April 2016, the Camo Pack was inspired by military camouflage from different corners of the planet and was most notably worn by Jamie Vardy as he fired Leicester City to Premier League glory.

Lucas Biglia (Lazio) adidas ACE 16+ PURECONTROL

Lucas Biglia was amongst a large number of players to make an early appearance in the adidas Stellar Pack this week. Roberto Firmino put them into competitive action at the beginning of the week and Biglia followed by slipping into the crisp white, gold and black edition of the adidas ACE 16+ Purecontrol as he trained ahead of Lazio's 2-0 win over Empoli.

Yosuke Kashiwaga (Urawa Red Diamonds) adidas Gloro 16.1

Yosuke Kashiwaga has given the custom treatment to his adidas Gloro 15.1 boots. With one eye on the Urawa Red Diamonds strip, Kashiwaga added some yellow stripes to his black and red Gloros for an all round tidy design. If it were us, the yellow should have been darker to match his fluffy barnet. That would have been tremendous. Still, a smart look nonetheless.

Charlie Estcourt (Bristol Academy) Nike Hypervenom Phantom II

Charlie Escort was sporting the collaboration between Neymar Jr and Michael Jordan at the weekend as she became one of only a handful of players to wear the collection of two of Nike's biggest global stars. Estcourt laced up in the Hypervenom Phantom II, complete with Jordan and Neymar branding, the first football boot to ever feature a nod to a basketball great. Dunked.
