The battle for the football gaming gong reaches a new level for 2017 as Konami and EA Sports lock horns once more. For those in the Pro Evo camp, you're in for a treat if the latest PES 17 trailer is anything to go by.

Pro Evo or FIFA is more than a choice, more than an allegiance, it defines who you are. Well, it certainly did at school anyway... the decision always sieved you into the correct friends circle and even if you wanted to jump ship, it was too late, you'd already slagged off the other one too much.



New license agreements with Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal have given Pro Evo the authenticity it often got accused of lacking, and the graphic advancements are clear to see in the latest trailer. A new look Anfield will join the game via an update once the Main Stand is finished and each and every football boot is produced to perfect, with every fine detail covered. Roll on September.
