In heading to Milan, BT Sport enlisted the help of photographic talent Amy Maidment to capture Champions League proceedings from behind the scenes. All over, Milan was given the Champions League treatment with the elite from the game dropping in left, right and centre. Dropping in to a UEFA Foundation game, genuine legends took to a bespoke pitch with fans invite to take in the action while the UEFA Champions League trophy was on show in the heart of the city for all to see. This collection of imagery takes you inside the cauldron, a melting pot of pure emotion and atmosphere.

A sun drenched party of football, these shots capture an all encompassing sense of importance, not to mention the colossal concrete heaven that goes by the name of the San Siro. Simply sublime in its architectural prowess, this is a city that is home to a fresh and inspired game. Empowered with style and sophisticated charm, there are few places provide a greater regal wonderland than this stopping point.
