Fraser Forster (Southampton) Nike Magista Opus

Fraser Forster came out on top in the battle of the England goalkeepers at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon. Wearing a Swooshless Nike Magista Opus, the big Southampton stopper pulled off a string of saves as the Saints beat Joe Hart's Manchester City 4-2 to keep their Europa League qualification dream alive.

Alan Sheehan (Luton Town) adidas ACE/X

Alan Sheehan opted for both Chaos and Control at the weekend as Luton lost 2-0 to already promoted Northampton Town. Lacing up in both the ACE and X silos, Sheehan's choice was a strange one considering the different in weight and feel of the boots. Can't see it catching on!

Jack Redshaw (Blackpool) Nike Tiempo Legend V

Jack Redshaw took an alternative approach to customisation than Sheehan by pulling off a stylish match with his Blackpool home kit and a white/orange Nike Tiempo Legend V colourway. One of the smartest kit/boot combinations on show at the weekend.

The 2016 PUMA Tricks collection continued to catch the eye on pitch this week. PUMA have already placed their elite pool of male players into the trademark split design and now they've dished them out to their female players including Arsenal's Alex Scott.

Milan Lalkovic rolled back to December 2013 this weekend as Walsall kept their automatic promotion charge alive. The Mercurial Vapor IX was launched as part of the Nike Reflective Pack that featured distinctive white reflective patterns towards the heel area of each design.

Tom Bradshaw (Walsall) Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Quinhentos

Another Walsall player making noise in his Mercurials this week was prolific frontman Tom Bradshaw. Wearing the CR7 Superfly Quinhentos, which was originally launched in October last year to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo reaching 500 career goals, Bradshaw has cut off the Dynamic Fit Collar for a low profile silhouette.

Dimas (Western Sydney) Umbro Medusae

Western Sydney Wanderers' Dimas kept things clean in his all white Umbro Medusae boots this week. Rather than taking on the bright blue and red launch edition, Dimas has opted for an all round sleek design with the all white takeover. Classic classy Umbro.

Kaito Kubo (Grulla Morioka) Kappa Helium

That retrolicious Kappa logo is back in the game. The iconic logo that sends us into glorious daydreams of Shaun Goater running riot in an oversized Man City shirt at Maine Road. Kappa's latest football boot collection is headlined by the Helium silo, worn this week by Kaito Kuba.

Keisuke Honda (AC Milan) Mizuno Wave Ignitus IV

Mizuno's main man moved into the latest colourway of the Wave Ignitus IV this week. Keisuke Honda has stayed loyal to the lead football brand from his homeland and has been equipped with the latest green and yellow combination to wear for AC Milan's final few Serie A games.

Birmingham City Ladies player Kerys Harrop was sporting one the very last greatest Predator designs this week. Opting for the complete blackout adidas Predator LZ II, the shadowed design marked the final chapter for football's most iconic boot collections.
