'Timsah Arena' Bursaspor by Alp Eren : Art and Illustration : Soccer Bible

Home to Turkish side Bursaspor, the Timsah Arena sits as a powerful structure of style. Taking it in and capturing these cultured curves, architecture photographer Alp Eren takes in this emerald number.

Pride of place in the city of Bursa, the Timsah Arena is a 43,877 seated megaplex for the game to thrive. It's name, literally translated as the 'Crocodile Arena' glows a shade of green offering it a unique and fresh identity. It's one of those that packs plenty of it's own character ― no modern design simply fitting conventions, a crocodile wrap around that embodies innovation and triumphs in translating the club nickname of the ('Green Crocodiles') into a brick and mortar aesthetic.

Opened in 2015 with a polished cosmetic feel though clinically keeping the charm of a football stadium, this is one of scale. Green and white seats that span across multiple tiers taking in 'sky boxes' along the way.
