Bringing some comic book style to an icon of unrivalled measure, Johan Marais-Piper has characterised Zinedine Zidane. Taking influence from the incredible Hulk, it's one fine poster he's made.

Who says you can't have Zizou immortalised in the style of the incredible Hulk next to a touch of Damien Hurst? Ok maybe a little too far but you get the gist. Fine work all round.

Johan's style flavoursome, he describes the project, "In 2015 Arcade Screen Printing put together a screen printing show, inspired by superheroes. I decided to mix my love for football and superheroes and took inspiration from the 2006 World Cup final (specifically Zidane's brain snap). The more I thought about it, the more I found similarities between Zizou and The Hulk..."

In similar style these gifs add a touch of animation to bring both Zizou and Zlatan to life. Locks flowing, eyes patrolling, two heroes and mavericks of their own making reimagined in illustrated form. Strong all round.
