Joaozinho (Krasnodar) Puma v1.06

PUMA celebrated the tenth anniversary of the v1.06 last week with a re-release of their famed "Red/White/Black" edition. Dropping in limited numbers it wasn't expected to make its way on to the professional scene but Krasnodar's Joaozinho went one better by wearing the originals in the Europa League this week.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

Cristiano Ronaldo moved out of his signature 'Savage Beauty' Superfly this weekend and into the new 'Metal Flash' edition of the silo, with modified Dynamic Fit Collar. It was a mixed start for CR7 as he opened the scoring and then missed a penalty as Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Malaga and lost even more ground to Barca at the top of La Liga. Back in the standard colourway? Expect a new signature drop soon.

Stefano Okaka (Anderlecht) adidas ACE 16.1 Primeknit

Stefano Okaka has been wearing self-blacked out boots since late last year. First the Anderlecht man was wearing a disguised Tiempo Legend V and now he's switched out of those into adidas' latest ACE 16.1 Primeknit. The wait for a boot deal goes on, but you can't blame the man for trying.

Tom Huddlestone (Hull) Nike Magista Obra

Tom Huddlestone has tampered with his Nike Magista Obra boots by cutting off the Dynamic Fit Collar to produce a standard Flyknit edition of the Opus silhouette. This is a tactic we've seen from numerous players now, which should help Nike make a decision on whether a low-cut Flyknit boot would serve a purpose.

Ross Barkley (Everton) Nike Hypervenom Phinish II

Ross Barkley has transformed his Nike Hypervenom Finish boots in a similar style to that of Neymar's modification. The England midfielder has replaced the Flywire upper of the standard Hypervenom with a smoother, Vapor-esque design and got himself on the scoresheet as Everton knocked Bournemouth out of the FA Cup.

Dimas (Western Sydney) Umbro Medusae

Umbro rolled out their all new Medusae silo last week and dropped it in a Red/Blue combination but Western Sydney Wanderers' Dimas has managed to snag himself a whiteout. The Medusae combines touch, comfort and fit of premium leather with the ‘speed’ of a lightweight boot to complete the new-look collection from the brand.

Becky Sauerbrunn (USA) adidas ACE 16.1 Primeknit

When the women's adidas ACE 16.1 Primeknit was released in "White/Solar Gold/Shock Pink" it made a hell of a lot of male players pretty jealous. The clean design has been worn regularly in the women's game by adidas athletes including USA's Becky Sauerbrunn this week.

Kenneth Sheif (Gent) Nike Premier

Towards the end of 2015 Nike dropped the Tiempo Legends Premier Pack – Five classic colourways inspired by throwback Tiempo styles. The one worn by Gent's Kenneth Sheif in the Champions League knockout stages this week is a nod to the 2008 Air Legend II, a boot that was put on the map by Brazilian Legend Ronaldinho.

Hulk (Zenit) Mizuno Morelia Neo

Hulk made his way into Mizuno's latest masterpiece and their first major release of the new year this week. The limited edition 'Origami Concept' is designed with subtle graphics inspired by the famous Origami Peace Crane; an international symbol of peace. A top-end 'Made in Japan' Neo weighing just 180g.

Blaise Matuidi (PSG) Nike Magista Obra BHM

Nike celebrated Black History Month 2016 with a collection of products spread across a selection of sports. Flying the flag for football was PSG's Blaise Matuidi wearing the BHM Magista Obra against Chelsea in the Champions League this week. The limited edition boot hit the shelves last week and was snapped up sharpish as Nike kicked off their 2016 limited edition game in style.

Anders Waagan (Norway) Nike Hypervenom/Magista

Anders Waagan was representing his country's U16 side in a mixed boot combo this week. A fad that has become a far more frequent sight in recent seasons but mainly with colourways, and that's what makes Waagan's decision unique. The Norwegian was wearing a Hypervenom on his right foot and a Magista on his left. Odd in every sense.

Danery Barralaga (Honduras) Concave Volt +

Honduras youngster Deanery Barralaga joined a growing number of players switching into the Concave Volt + this week as the brand continue to be spotted across the world. The Volt + is equipped to maximise shot power using Concave's unique component in both their synthetic and leather editions, the latter of which worn by Barralaga here.
