Bringing the curtain down in style on a career spanning 21 years and countless trophies, Raúl, one of the most significant players in Spanish football history, capped off his career last night winning the NASL championship with New York Cosmos.

On hand to capture the final professional touches from one of the most influential finishers in the game, Nathan Congleton grabbed the moment history was wrapped up for both player and club - New York Cosmos taking home the prized 2015 'Soccer Bowl'.



Having embarked on an adventure in New York 2014, Raúl has been able to bring proceedings on his playing career to an end it befitting, match winning fashion. Countless La Liga titles, a Champions League winner and one of the Spanish national side's all time greats.



A modern hero, his career will leave a lasting legacy with numerous feats. Bringing the ice to the party, the umbrella in the cocktail - that's just his style. The prized possession in a diamond jewelers, that's what he's been. What a guy.
