As the flights to France fill up fast we take a look back at the pick of the boot spotting from a busy week of Euro 2016 qualifiers. New colourways, custom silos and all your usual mixed bag of random footwear.

Gareth Bale (Wales) adidas X 15.1

Wales qualified for their first major tournament since the 1958 World Cup this week despite losing 2-0 to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Gareth Bale scored or assisted six of Wales' nine goals that helped them reach Euro 2016 with a game to spare and was in action in the penultimate group game wearing the "Solar Red" adidas X 15.1.

Robert Lewandowski (Poland) Nike Hypervenom Phantom II

Having passed the 100 goal mark in the Bundesliga in record time, Nike designed an exclusive Hypervenom boot for Europe’s most in-form striker. The custom red and black Hypervenom II incorporates fiery graphics across the upper including numerous nods to Lewandowski's life. Job done as a brace against Scotland and a win against Ireland secured a spot in France next summer for Poland.

Roberto Carlos (Delhi Dynamos) Mizuno Morelia

Roberto Carlos has hung on to his special edition gold Mizuno Morelia boots worn in a recent "World Stars" charity match. The legendary Brazilian full back was laced up in the custom design on the touch line as he barked instructions to his Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos F.C. Not many coaches can get away with gold boots. Just Carlos, Zidane and maybe Alan Pardew.

Dele Alli (England) adidas ACE 15.1

Tottenham's Dele Alli is having a season to remember. The youngster has installed himself as a key man in the Spurs team since arriving from MK Dons and was handed his England debut by Roy Hodgson against Estonia at Wembley on Friday night. The midfielder marked the occasion with a St George's flag on his adidas ACE 15.1 boots, one for the Alli family mantelpiece.

Lee Casciaro (Gibraltar) adidas Predator Instinct 94

Gibraltar's debut major qualifying campaign came to an end last night as they were tanked 6-0 by Scotland. It was a campaign to remember for Lee Casciaro though as he scored the tiny nation's first ever European goal at Hampden Park and we wont' forget him either due to his collection of adidas Revenge Pack Predators, the most recent of which he wore last night - the 1994 Instinct editions.

Adam Lallana (England) Puma evoSPEED 1.4

Adam Lallana moved out of the Tricks 'H2H Duality' editions and into the leather "Electric Blue" evoSPEED 1.4 at Wembley as England continued their 100% winning run with a 2-0 victory over Estonia. A win for the Three Lions in Lithuania tonight will see them end the campaign with 10 wins out of 10. Watch out France. Football's coming home, maybe, probably not.

Dimas (Western Sydney Wanderers) Joma Super Copa Speed

Western Sydney Wanderers' Dimas was on show wearing the Joma Super Copa Speed this week in the A-League. The Super Copa is the Spanish brand's most recent lightweight silo and is also their most advanced yet with a sleek design and tidy little colourway. Neat.

Alessio Romagnoli (Italy) Nike Tiempo Legend VI

Italy U21 defender Alessio Romagnoli gave us another brief glimpse at the new Nike Tiempo Legend this week as he laced up in a complete blackout pair of the sixth-generation boot. In an era where classic boots are being written off left, right and centre we can expect to see the new design unveiled in the coming weeks as the Tiempo legacy lives on.

Makino Tomoaki (Japan) adidas F50 adizero

It may be PUMA owning the odd-boot look but Makino Tomoaki got in on the action by mixing up his adidas F50 adizeros. The Japanese international was in 2018 World Cup qualifying action against Syria and who knows? Maybe by the time that tournament comes around everyone will be doing it...

Telusa Veainu (Tonga) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

With it being the Rugby World Cup we've thrown in a curve-ball here. Or a curved ball if you like... Tonga's wing Telusa Veainu makes the cut by wearing the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 - the signature boot of Cristiano Ronaldo. We'd love to see Ronaldo have a bash at Rugby, those boys might deal with his trademark step-overs in a slightly different way.

Michael Bradley (USA) Puma evoSPEED 1.4

Recent PUMA signing Michael Bradley switched into the "Electric Blue" evoSPEED 1.4 as the USA were beaten 3-2 by Mexico at the Rose Bowl in their 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup Qualifier. The USA can still qualify for the Games by beating Canada next week, then overcoming Colombia in a playoff in Rio.
