Memphis Depay (Manchester United) Under Armour Speedform

Manchester United continued their solid start to the Premier League season and whilst new boy Anthony Martial took the headlines with a well taken brace it was other new boy Memphis Depay who caught our eye wearing the new Under Armour Speedform 'Multi Camo' edition, his 186th Speedform edition of the season. Something like that.

Jesus Navas (Manchester City) New Balance Furon

The New Balance Furon has so far been out-shone by the Visaro silo but Manchester City's Jesus Navas is at least wearing the boot even if he has remained in the white-out prototype version. City's perfect start to the Premier League season came to a crushing end at the Etihad on Saturday evening as they went down 2-1 to West Ham United.

Marco Borriello (Carpi) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

From whiteout to blackout. Carpi's Marco Borriello went all stealth at the weekend by lacing up in a complete blackout pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly IV boots. Ultimate low-key style from Borriello as he ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 result against Fiorentina.

Simone Romagnoli (Carpi) adidas 11Pro

Staying with Carpi and Simone Romagnoli's blackout design was a bit more makeshift than that of his team-mates' effort. Romagnoli opted to for the D.I.Y approach to colour in his adidas 11Pro 'Battle Pack' boots, well, boot, he only managed one before the pen either ran out or he found something better to do.

Ibrahima Keita (Senegal) Nike Mercurial Vapor X

Senegal's Ibrahima Keita also took personalisation into his own hands this week by marking his nike Mercurial Vapor X boots with some lovely big Biro lettering. The word 'Koungheul' on his left foot as far as we can see after our 20 seconds google search is the hometown of the Senegalese player. Keita unconventional customisation didn't stop there as he just laced the top two holes to use the boot as a semi-slip on.

Nicolas Penneteau (Charleroi) adidas X 15.1

That's how you do it properly. Charleroi goalkeeper Nicolas Penneteau nailed the boot/kit combo by matching his bright orange 'keeper kit with a "black/orange" custom X 15.1 design, taking full advantage of the silo hitting miadidas. Smart. Visual satisfaction at its finest.

Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

The hottest drop of the year came in February as Nike released just 333 pairs of the Mercurial Superfly CR7 "Rare Gold". Ronaldo wore one pair himself which left 332 pairs to be snapped by collectors to keep in pristine condition in cabinets and cases, apart from Yannick Bolasie who became the only other player to wear the boot when he laced up in them against Spurs. Bolasie is the king of boot variety with a boot room bigger than Ronaldo's trophy cabinet.

Francesco Totti (Roma) Nike Tiempo Legend V

Francesco Totti scored his 300th goal for Roma at the weekend wearing his customised Nike Tiempo Legend V boots, complete with fold-over, elasticated tongue. The Italian legend has made over 700 appearances in a career that spans across 24 seasons with his boyhood club. The ultimate one-man club and still on the scoresheet at 38 years old.

Tamar Nadirashvili (Georgia) Nike Mercurial Talaria II

Tamar Nadirashvili provided the old-school boot spot of the week by digging out a pair of Nike Mercurial Talaria II boots from 2006. The Talaria was the take-down version of the second generation Mercurial Vapor and where she found them is anyone's guess but it's a great effort if she's had them since day one. Georgian women's football, the new place to be.
