Ultras Lazio Publication by Paul Failla : Books and Magazines : Soccer Bible

With an ever growing taste for the finer side of football, this publication designed by Paul Failla using geometric shapes to illustrate the narrative of the acutely designed book.

A saddle-stitched finish to this publication, Paul describes the project, "imaging the violent behaviour of the most fervent supporters of the football team, SS. Lazio. The publication focussed on the omnipresent duality of corruption and support within ‘Ultras Lazio’ and this was expressed through various triangular graphics and imagery. The body text throughout the publication was an essay discussing typographic similarities between graffiti and Italian Futurism while the colour palette was inspired by Lazio's home kit."
