A big week for adidas and PUMA as the Haters Pack and new-generation evoPOWER lands on-pitch respectively. In your usual round-up of who was wearing what we've picked out our selection of boots that caught our eyes over the past seven days.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid) Puma evoSPEED 1.3

PUMA moved their contracted players into the new "Bright Plasma" evoSPEED 1.3 colourway this week. The loud paint job follows the low-key "Black/White/Pool Green" drop as PUMA aim to capture ultimate on pitch visibility going into the business end of the season.

Damien Delaney (Crystal Palace) adidas Nitrocharge 1.0

The "Solar Blue" Nitrocharge 1.0 landed as one quarter of the adidas Haters Pack this week and Crystal Palace's Damien Delaney was a number of players who switched into the new colourway as Palace knocked high-flying Southampton out of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Benik Afobe (Wolves) Umbro Velocita

Umbro officially unveiled their new-generation speed boot today in the shape of the Velocita. Tipped to be a serious contender in the lightweight silo game the Velocita managed to tempt Benik Afobe out of the Superfly at the weekend, which tells you all you need to know about the quality of the latest boot to hold the Double Diamond.

Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid) adidas Kaiser 5 Cup

Fernando Torres provided the most random boot spot of the week by switching into the adidas Kaiser 5 Cup, a boot that is essentially a take down from the adidas World Cup. Torres, a self confessed white boot fan, opted for the new white/black colourway, which may have been a statement to adidas to what he thinks of the latest Predator Instinct paint job.

Fahid Khalfallah (Melbourne Victory) adidas Predator Instinct

Launched in December last year the "Black/White/Solar Red" drop was widely welcomed by all traditional Predator fans who were happy to see the famous colour combination return. Popular with non-contracted players but adidas opted to keep their athletes in the Supernatural editions for a stronger on-pitch presence.

Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast) Puma evoPOWER 1.2

Yaya Toure was the most high-profile player at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations to move into the new-generation evoPOWER that dropped last week. PUMA's evoPOWER 1.2 was launched with a new tech pack to upgrade it from the massively successful first-gen boot that helped PUMA assemble a killer squad of pro players.

Faouzi Aaish (Bahrain) Nike Tiempo Legend Elite

Faouzi Aaish went all 2010 this week as he laced up in the Nike Tiempo Legend Elite, which was originally launched for all Nike players to wear at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. All four Nike silos, the Mercurial, T90, CTR and Tiempo were all plastered in the same "Metallic Purple/Total Orange" colourway for a dominant takeover on the world's biggest footballing stage.

Angel Di Maria (Man United) adidas Predator Instinct

Despite fielding the UK's most expensive player of all time in Angel Di Maria Manchester United failed to break down a resilient League Two Cambridge United on Friday night in the FA Cup. Not the ideal performance to debut the new "Solar Red/Night Flash" Haters Pack Instinct but it could have been worse for United on a weekend that saw Chelsea and City both dumped out by lower league opposition.

Lucas Ocampos (Monaco) adidas F50 adizero

Launched to count down to the 2014 World Cup the adidas 'Carnaval Pack' was only supposed to be worn by adidas players for one game but Monaco's Lucas Ocampos has been wearing them ever since. The F50 adizero was inspired by Brazil's biggest festival and featured a flickering ticker tape design on the upper that created one of the most distinctive boot collections of 2014.

Lee Collins (Northampton) Puma PowerCat 1.12

Despite the introduction of the evoPOWER 1.2 this week Northampton's Lee Collins remained in the boot that got replaced by the evoPOWER silo, the PowerCat 1.12. No longer in production the "White/Blue/Gold" PowerCat 1.12 was launched in October 2011 but Collins obviously knows what he likes.

Florentin Pogba (Guinea) adidas Predator Instinct Accelerator

Florentin Pogba provided another of a few Revenge Pack sightings on pitch in recent weeks. The Guinea man opted for the limited edition 1998 Accelerator editions as his side impressed in holding Afcon favourites Ivory Coast to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Prejuce Nakoulma (Burkina Faso) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

Prejuce Nakoulma was busy with the black pen this week as he looks to have coloured in his 'Shine Through' Mercurial Superfly IV boots to leave somewhat of a blue tinge on the upper. The Burkina Faso striker plays for Mersin İdmanyurdu SK in Turkey at club level, he'll do well to get a boot deal if that's the plan with his blackouts.
