Kicking off the week in standard fashion, we've picked out the best boot-spotting action from the the last seven days. See which players and boots have made the cut this week.

Paul Pogba (Juventus) Nike Magista Obra

Paul Pogba continued to mix up his footwear game at the weekend by lacing up in a custom pair of Nike Magista Obra boots. Pogba has already sported the Revenge Pack Predator Instinct boots this season but switched into a classy white/black/gold NikeiD drop to match up with his club's home colours.

James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) adidas F50 Crazylight

The previous Crazylight was worn exclusively by Gareth Bale but the new colourway of the 140g boot was debuted at the weekend by Bale's Real Madrid team mate James Rodriguez ahead of its official release today (Monday).

Corey Gameiro (Sydney FC) Nike Mercurial Vapor X

Corey Gameiro made a unique adjustment to his Vapor X boots at the weekend. The Sydney FC man chose to skip all the lace holes apart from the last two. A strange technique which uses the all-in-one tongue of the boot to create a slip on version of the Vapor X.

Edinson Cavani (PSG) adidas adizero f50

Edinson Cavani turned out in a blackout pair of adizero f50 boots at the weekend suggesting his time with adidas has come to an end. It's a common technique used by high-profile players to alert other brands to their availability or because they've already agreed in principle to sign with a new partner.

Stevie May (Sheffield Wednesday) adidas Predator Instinct

The black and whiteout Predator Instincts weren't handed any official player support but Sheff Wednesday's Stevie May has grabbed a pair to wear in the Championship this season. The only downside to the boot is that it was only released in FG so you can expect to see them disappear from pitches for Winter.

Bobby Zamora (QPR) Under Armour Blur Carbon III

Bobby Zamora was unlucky to be on the losing side against Liverpool as he put in a good shift wearing the Under Armour Blur Carbon III boots. Under Armour have little player uptake this season but they would've been pleased to see Zamora's work-rate and hold up play, which showed up a lazy and wasteful Mario Balotelli at Loftus Road.

Isaac Brizuela (Toluca) adidas adizero F50

If you looked hard enough at the weekend you would have spotted the next adidas F50 colourway knocking around in North and South America. One of the players sporting the unreleased white/green boot was Toluca's Isaac Brizuela.

Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) Nike Tiempo Legend V

Aaron Ramsey returned from injury against Hull wearing a blacked out Nike Tiempo Legend V on which the Swooshes had been removed. Ramsey is thought to have ended his contract with adidas recently and the fact his Tiempos were Swoosh-less suggests he may be finalising a deal with a brand away from football's top two.

Byron Harrison (Cheltenham Town) Puma evoSPEED 1.2

The Special Edition PUMA evoSPEED 1.2 boots were released for Arsenal players to wear along with their new PUMA home shirt but Byron Harrison has snagged a pair to match up with his own club's home colours. A decent pairing too and one he can stick with until PUMA drop a Cheltenham Town exclusive....

Lucas Ocampos (Monaco) adidas adizero F50

Lucas Ocampos is quite partial to a pair of limited edition boots. Earlier in the season the Monaco man was wearing the adidas Carnaval Pack F50's but more recently he's switched into the Yohji Yamamoto editions designed by the famous Japanese fashion designer behind the adidas Y-3 label.

Charlie Adam (Stoke City) Nike Magista Opus

Charlie Adam has been wearing the adidas Predator for the past few seasons but he was on the scoresheet at the weekend against Swansea wearing a complete blackout pair of Nike Magista Opus boots.

Daniela Cruz (Costa Rica) Nike Magista Opus

They say girls have a better sense of style than boys and it's hard to argue. We've seen numerous custom colourways in the women's game and Daniela Cruz's NikeiD Magista Opus boots are another tidy number.

Aleksandr Sheshukov (Lokomotiv Moscow) adidas adizero F50

In a week where we've seen players testing a brand new adizero F50 model Aleksandr Sheshukov gave us a blast from the past by lacing up in the second generation adizero as Lokomotiv Moscow beat Terek Grozny 2-1.

Heather O'Reilly (USA) adidas adizero F50

Heather O'Reilly was reppin' a pair of bright orange adidas adizero F50 boots for the US Women's team this week. O'Reilly's boots featured a Battle Pack design plastered with an eccentric paint job that demanded a dominant on-pitch presence.
