Aritz Aduriz (Athletic Bilbao) PUMA evoPOWER 1

The new evoPOWER has taken over pitches in recent weeks as PUMA look to have moved the vast majority of their players into the new silo. Aritz Aduriz was wearing the evoSPEED but has since moved into the evoPOWER along with other PUMA players such as Yaya Toure and Mikel Arteta.

Max Lowe (England U17) miadidas Predator LZ

Young Derby County defender Max Lowe was in action for England U17's this week wearing a customised adidas Predator LZ colourway. Lowe, who was on the end of a 2-1 defeat to Belgium at St George's Park has given his LZ's a slick blue/white paint job.

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City) Nike Mercurial Vapor IX

The Mercurial Vapor IX Flash Pack editions have only been supplied to Cristiano Ronaldo by Nike but that hasn't stopped Hull City Tigers (or whatever they're called these days) midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady getting his paws (sorry) on a pair. Hull were unable to claw (not sorry) their way back into the game after an early Palace goal, although the the Egyptian's boots were able to demonstrate their reflective aspect under the Selhurst Park floodlights.

Liam Bridcutt (Sunderland) adidas Predator LZ

Liam Bridcutt was keeping it old school in the Tyne-Wear derby on Saturday. The black/zest Predator LZ colourway was an official release but wasn't used by contracted adidas players on pitch. Still, a blackout Predator colourway is always a popular boot and Bridcutt was sporting the low key look as Sunderland claimed bragging rights in dramatic style by hammering their rivals 3-0 in their own back yard.

Francesco Totti (AS Roma) Nike Tiempo Legend V

We've featured Franceso Totti's modified Nike Tiempo Legend V boots before but they're well worthy of a second look. The Roma legend is a big fan of the classic fold over tongue on his boots and Nike have acknowledged that by supplying him with a customised pair to meet his personal specifications.

Robin van Persie (Manchester United) adidas adizero F50

Another high profile player sporting unique boots this week was Robin van Persie. The United striker returned from injury with a goal wearing the Samba edition adidas adizero F50, which featured his preferred Predator adiPower soleplate and leather upper.

Dimitra Poulos (Western Sydney Wanderers) Nike Mercurial Vapor VI

As the 2014 World Cup in Brazil becomes closer each day Western Sydney Wanderers' goalkeeper Dimitra Poulos reminded us of Nike's last World Cup boot pack. Released for the 2010 tournament in South Africa the pack was made up of a T90, Mercurial, Superfly and Tiempo, all of which were finished in the same eccentric paint job.

Gaetan Charbonnier (Reims) adidas Predator LZ SL

We've spoken a lot of the adidas Predator LZ SL collection recently and questioned why we don't see more players in the super light version of the Pred. On paper it's the perfect blend of the F50 and Predator but for some reason has seen little player support. The price tag could play a part there but it's good to see Gaetan Charbonnier sporting a pair in Ligue 1.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal) Nike HyperVenom

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took the next step on his return from injury on Sunday by putting in a goalscoring man of the match performance as Arsenal beat Palace 2-0 at The Emirates. Good news for the Gunners, good news for England. The Ox looked sharp in his Nike HyperVenoms as he netted both goals with neat finishes.

Fran Steele (England Women's U19) Nike Premier

England Women's U19's were in action this week as they played out a 4-4 draw with Belgium. The pick of the boot spotting came on the feet of the Lionesses defender Fran Steele who was wearing the blue Nike Premiers, which is ironically the French edition with the England edition being red.
