It's 2014 and that can mean only one thing - it's a World Cup Year. The build up to Brazil is now in full Samba swing and next to show their cards is ESPN with a awesome new 90 second TV spot that celebrate's the world’s greatest sporting event returning to Brazil.
Intertwining memorable moments such as Pele's triumphant celebration in 1970 and Andres Iniesta's strike that sealed Spain’s first World Cup title in 2010 with references to Brazilian culture, the video is a full on samba assault that has us salivating at the prospect of the world's greatest footballer's coming together in June.
The video culminates in a montage of the football's current crop of stars who will all seek to etch their names into the World Cup history books this summer; Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Balotelli, Robin van Persie and Neymar all feature. Set to a stirring Sigur Ros soundtrack if this video doesn't get you in the mood, nothing will.
