Southampton goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga opted for an odd boot choice in more ways than one as his side hammered Cardiff 3-0 on Boxing Day. The Saints stopper made the strange decision to wear a volt Mercurial on his left foot and a black/white one on his right.

Samuel Eto'o (Chelsea) PUMA evoSPEED 1.2

Samuel Eto'o moved into the latest PUMA evoSPEED 1.2 colourway over the festive period and clinched the all important winning goal in Chelsea's 2-1 win over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The new blue/peach update was also released in an SL version but Eto'o was opted to remain in the standard editions.

Newcastle Jets midfielder Ruben Zadkovich was in action over Christmas wearing the low key black/slime adidas Nitrocharge colourway. Launched at the start of December the black/slime edition was part of the adidas black collection which saw toned down colourways land across each silo.
