Warrior Football have topped up their Gambler line with a fresh colour-up to their S-Lite model. The new White/Silver/Yellow colourway is a welcome antidote to the American brands usual 'in your face' graphics. The design is a slick blend of subtle colours that combine to make a great looking boot.
Warrior are making serious waves in football and are fast becoming one of the games most talked about brands. The Gambler is a control-focused boot, worn by Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini who so far this season has been wearing the White/Black/Neon Pink editions.
A white synthetic toe box, or 'Outsider Zone' as Warrior call it, combines with a silver DWR (durable water resistant) checkerboard mesh material, giving the Gambler a unique upper. The mesh material ensures a lightweight construction, while the synthetic material houses the boots key tech innovations.
Dampening pods across the forefoot combine with the 'Ace Plate' feature on the instep to provide the necessary control enhancements. 'Gambler' branding across the yellow instep along with an ace of spades graphic gives the boot Warrior's unique stamp of identity.
A 'Safe House' TPU thorax cage is designed for support and structure while the external heel shield and offset lacing system provide, in Warrior's words, a sweet spot and sweet fit. We're not sure on the all fancy component names but we'd certainly take a gamble on this being their best looking boot to date.
The new White/Silver/Yellow Warrior Gambler S-Lite will available from selected stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. What do you think of the new colourway? Let us know. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
