Manchester United attacking trio Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez have been enjoying a spot of blindfolded football, going up against the deadly duo of Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole at United's Carrington training ground. Check out how they got on in the hilarious video!
Yorke and Cole, famous for their Treble winning heroics in United's 1999 campaign, challenged the Premier League leader's current formidable strike-force to see just how telepathic their understanding of each other's movement is!
The threesome tried to hit the back of the net wearing blindfolds in a bid to underline the power and cohesion of their partnerships. The video - created by digital betting and gaming partner bwin - shows Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez taking on the blindfolded challenge set by Yorke and Cole. After getting his sights locked in, Rooney even tried to recreate his wonder goal against Manchester City.
Yorke and Cole, keen not to be out-done by United's current generation put in an impressive display with both sets of strikers demonstrating some good (and bad) link-up play wearing the blindfolds. Rooney said: 'We enjoyed going head to head, especially as Cheech (Chicarito) is a very similar player to Andy and I’m a little bit better than Yorkie!'
Fans can bet on whether the current Manchester United strike force will beat the 98/99 goal scoring record of Yorke, Cole, Solskjaer and Sheringham at bwin.com/goalrecord
