Rather than releasing a second-generation Hypervenom into the Tech Craft line up when the collection was launched in November 2016, Nike have waited until the dust has settled on the third-generation before taking it in for a Tech Craft transformation. Dropping in both the high-cut with Flyknit Dynamic Fit Collars and low-cut versions the Hypervenom 3 Tech Craft takes on a leather touch and Nike All Conditions Control (ACC) technology for improved ball control in both dry and wet conditions.
Rather than following the conventional black and silver design on the Mercurial, Magista and Tiempo, the Hypervenom shakes up the stakes by arriving in dark shades of green for a design that sits near, rather than next to, its leathered siblings. Beautifully crafted to execute a premium transition. The Tech Craft Pack won't feature on the feet of Nike's pool of pros, but that only adds to the overall style factor. Handsomely understated.
