Nike's latest Zoom Mercurial XI design provides a preview of the CR7 Chapter 3 football boot that's set to follow in the coming days. Landing under the Nike F.C. tag, the Zoom Mercurial XI will form part of the new CR7 lifestyle collection to sit alongside the Real Madrid man's new on-pitch Mercurial Superfly.

The full story behind the inspiration of Cristiano Ronaldo's new boot will have to wait until the launch next week, with the Zoom Mercurial XI offering few clues to the third chapter. Nike are set to launch seven chapters of design, each paying tribute to a stage in Ronaldo's life. The third chapter follows on from 'Savage Beauty' & 'Natural Diamond'. The coordinates on the insole of the Zoom Mercurial XI providing the only insight of the third release on what is quite a low-key design.



A crafted leather heel counter gives the Nike Zoom Mercurial XI a premium feel and the soft foam inner provides the plush cushioning. An adaptable sneaker, typical of Nike's football-inspired line-up that oozes versatility with sports and fashion outfits. Not as harsh as the all black edition, the "CR7 Chapter 3" update adds another stylish dimension to the Zoom Mercurial Flyknit movement.
