Covered tightly in shimmering wraps of punchy colour, the Nike Floodlights Pack takes on a footballing box of sweets vibe with a foursome of flavours, each with a unique taste. The Magista Obra, Mercurial Superfly V, Hypervenom Phantom II & Tiempo Legend 6 lead the way with lo-cut editions of the Opus, Vapor & Hypervenom joining a FootballX update for a complete takeover to represent the Swoosh on-pitch up until Winter.
Leading the way for us is the "Rio Teal" Magista Obra II with its subtle heat map design still present. The Mercurial Superfly V is drenched in "Purple Dynasty/Bright Citrus/Hyper Grape" while the Hypervenom uses a combination of "Total Crimson/Obsidian/Vivid Purple", leaving the Tiempo with a "Coastal Blue" colourway. Not a pack for the traditionalist, this one, as Nike explore every corner of their colour palette.
October will mark the first full collection update for Nike this season as the Floodlights Pack takes centre stage, replacing the Spark Brilliance Pack that has had a prolonged shelf life since EURO 2016. Since the start of the domestic season in Europe Nike have also dropped the Elite Pack, worn by a select number of players, and the Pitch Dark Pack, worn by even fewer professionals. The Nike Floodlights Pack will be supplied to every sponsored Swoosh player from this weekend onwards. You're about to see a whole lot more of them, like it or not.
