Transforming the Palais de Tokyo into the "Palais of Speed" for this summer's European Championship, Nike opened the doors to its Euro 2016 base with some special appearances from Luis Figo and Jay-Jay Okocha. A landmark in the heart of the French capital, the Palais de Tokyo ― a building dedicated to modern and contemporary art ― has been transformed by Nike into a celebration of football, speed and innovation.
The enormous space has been converted into an extensive exhibition that welcomes in the very best of Nike sports performance and lifestyle sportswear ― it's a showcase of what makes this brand such a powerhouse. Stopping by to get their fix, career-long Nike athlete and brand ambassador Luis Figo was joined by Jay-Jay Okocha as the two iconic former players joined the crowds.
"I started with Nike in 1992 so I've worked with them throughout my entire career. I've always been really happy to be with the brand, it's been a great experience with a lot of nice moments, a lot of great commercials, and of course a lot of beautiful product." — Luis Figo
Stretching from a Mercurial styled F1 car to a football shirt customisation zone featuring special patch designs from ILOVEDUST, it's a pillar-to-pillar feast of football expression at its finest. From the dynamic installations inside to the concrete court outside, the Palais of Speed will also play host to the international final of the 'Winner Stays' Nike FootballX tournament this Saturday (18th June).
Housing a number of private events between June 4th and June 18th, guests are invited to create their own pass and experience it for themselves. Sign up for entry here.
