Closer Look | Nike Magista "Intense Heat" : Football Boots : Soccer Bible

A year on from the 2014 launch of Magista in Barcelona Nike drop a ninth colourway to the series. Landing under the "Intense Heat" label the “Total Orange/Persian Violet/Laser Orange" combo represents the intensity of the time of year as we enter trophy season.

Although the other boots in the "Intense Heat" pack took a step away from their “Highlight Pack” predecessors in terms of the colours that were used, the Magista promotes the colour from the Swoosh on the “Poison Green” outing to the primary color on this release. They won't match up with many of Nike's pro club kits but they're not supposed too, at this time of the year it's all about standing out, making a bold statement in the history books and back pages as trophies are lifted.



Tech-wise you know the drill by now, the Magista Obra offers a slightly padded version of the Flyknit upper and a slightly wider last than the Superfly IV. Still not feeling the Dynamic Fit Collar? As with all Obra releases Nike have replicated the "Total Orange" colourway on their Opus silo for their respective Magista players to switch into for the end-of-season run-in.
