To coincide with the end of season run in Nike have dropped another HyperVenom colourway in the form of these beautifully simplistic white/black/lime editions. The slick colour combo lands as Nike's 9th HyperVenom paint job and provides a more conservative alternative to recent bright spring/summer release.
Best HyperVenom colourway yet for us. There, we said it. The black and white canvas with subtle lime details creates a blend of classic and modern characteristics, the ultimate way to pull off an old school look on one of the most technologically advanced boots. Black and white keeps it original while lime stops the boot from becoming dull. The only thing wrong with them? We have to wait until April 1st to grab a pair.
The new white/black/lime drop is the third HyperVenom colour up of 2014 after the blue/volt/black versions dropped in January before the spring '14 editions and is expected to start hitting pitches at the turn of the month. For traditional boot fans who have been put off by the aggressive colourways but have wanted to try the HyperVenom, this colourway may have just opened the door. As with all of Nike's current boots, the silver tongued theme continues on the latest update.
Launched in May last year the HyperVenom has been hugely successful both in the professional and amateur ranks, gathering an impressive following of top players. A boot that combines the latest in technology, innovation and style, the HyperVenom is slowly starting to knock the Mercurial off Nike's headline throne.
Tech-wise it's the same story. The Hypervenom upper is created using the new NIKESKIN system. This execution of NIKESKIN features a soft, supple mesh bound with a thin polyurethane film, and is finished off with Nike All Conditions Control technology (ACC) to provide the same level of foot-to-ball control in both wet and dry conditions.
The black/lime/white/silver will be available from selected online retailers including Pro-Direct Soccer. Best HyperVenom colourway so far for us, what do you think? Let us know. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
