Following last weeks first refresh of 2014, the Nike FC247 collection has received yet another update. This time around the popular futsal trio have been given a new graphical element with the help of Brazilian artist Wagner Pinto.
The new collection features various visual references to this year's World Cup host county subtly placed upon the shoes. The iconic Maracana stadium, outdoor futsal scenes, Brazilian trophies and a host of Brazilian wildlife are depicted in the illustrations and pay homage to the diverse football culture in Brazil.
Nike cater for the small sided game better than any of the other big brands and futsal fans are spoiled for choice with the FC247 collection. Whatever surface you play on there's a shoe that fits the bill, the Elastico Finale II is for court and indoor surfaces, the Bomba Finale II for turf and the Lunargato II is for the street.
Stylish updates have come thick and fast since the collection was re-branded last year and it looks as if 2014 will be no different. Nike may have left it until March to drop the years first set of colour-ups but haven't hung around for the second less than a week later. This new collection further sets out what can be done with FC247 template.
Nike Bomba Finale II - Nike's outdoor turf shoe, is often gifted the quieter of the collections colourways and once again follows suit. The upper consists of two shades of grey and is matched with bright orange laces and an orange swoosh across the toe. The new graphic element subtly drops inside the large Nike on either side of the shoe.
Nike Lunargato II - Often considered the best looking of the bunch, the Lunargato II has been given a grey, yellow and blue colour combo. As is often the case, the toe box and uppers contrast, this time in two shades of grey, with blue stitching matching the laces. Yellow Nike branding and another subtle graphic pattern finish off the new look.
Nike Elastico Finale II - Finally the Elastico Finale II has been given the most notable make-over of the collection. The new graphic print depicts birds, flowers and insects and stands out more than on the other shoes. Covering most of the boots nikeskin surface, the pattern is only interrupted by a large green swoosh.
