#SB Meets#Mario Götze Talks Nike Magista

 

 

Mario Götze played a pivotal role during the design and testing phase of the new Nike Magista and now that the boot has been released the Bayern Munich midfielder has been sharing his first thoughts on the new concept boot, from receiving his first pair to wearing them in training.
 

Nike heavily involved Andrés Iniesta along with Götze to provide feedback on the Magista, as they looked to create the perfect boot for the attacking midfield player. Iniesta has already praised the fit of the boot and now Götze has echoed the Barca man's comments on Nike's most ground-breaking boot innovation yet.

Götze explained "When I saw the Magista for the first time, it was incredible. It's a new boot and innovation and nothing like I have ever seen before. When I played with the boot for the first time, I was super excited. I never expected to have the feeling the boot gave me, it's a natural feeling, the shoe fits perfectly and it seems to be part of my body."
 

Speaking about his knowledge and experience of Flyknit Götze added "I know about Flyknit technology from the running and basketball shoes. Because of the new material you get a more natural feeling for the ball, it seems like I am even closer to the ball. For a player like me, in my position and with my style of play, this is extremely important."

Finally, the Bayern Munich maestro saved special prasie for Nike's innovation "When I play in it, it seems to be part of my body, it feels like it's connected to my leg and that makes this boot very special. When you are a Nike player, you always expect something amazing, but this boot surpasses everything."
