Mark the date in your calendars. Nike will reveal their much-anticipated Magista model on 06.03.14 in a move that will change the landscape of football boots forever according to the innovation junkies within the Nike camp.

"Football will never be the same" - it's a bold line Nike are pitching as they prepare to lift the lid on what's sure to be one of the year's hottest releases. The tease video released today documents the moment the world's top players – including Andres Iniesta, Thiago Silva and David Luiz - saw the innovative new boot for the first time.

Today's confirmation that adidas will launch their Primeknit boot tomorrow (27.02.14) has ignited a boot rivalry that's sure to dominate the coming months. The brand's respective Flyknit and Primekint technologies will face off in the innovation standings after years in development.
