Nike Launch Reflective Boot Pack - Football Boots

Nike has launched it's latest boot collection for the holiday season in the shape of a new reflective pack for next level visibility. The HyperVenom, Mercurial, Tiempo and CTR make up a four-silo collection that features distinctive white reflective pattern towards the heel area of each design.

Each silo takes on a slick new look with Nike incorporating their reflective technology to give the collection an added sense of identity. All four boots are predominantly Tonal Silver with the white reflective blocking that are unique to each silo and inspired by some of nature’s most stealth-like creatures



On the objective of the collection Nike Football Design Director Denis Dekovic said “We wanted to create an intuitive predator pattern to accentuate each silo’s attitude. We used a white-based concealed graphic so that on first look it seems like a straightforward design but on closer inspection you see some of those stealth-like qualities.”





The Hypervenom’s reflective area is snake-inspired with a scaled pattern catching the light to create an impressive visual display. The upper sits on top of a neon yellow soleplate and is finished with bold black Nike Swooshes and detailing to land as the first predominantly white HyperVenom.





The Mercurial Vapor IX adopts a leopard-like design in homage to the boots speed heritage. To give the reflective pack consistency each silo is finished with a block colourway on the soleplate and for the Mercurial that colour is bright green. Just like the all black Mercurial IX, the reflective pack Vapor is made from a leather like upper rather than the standard speed control texture.





The Tiempo’s lion-esque leadership qualities are apparent in it’s own reflective print. The Tiempo is placed on a royal blue soleplate and for us is the pick of the collection. The vivid two toned launch colourway is replaced by an all white upper with black Tiempo text on the heel.





The CTR360 takes it’s print inspiration from various birds of prey and is joined by baby blue splashes reminiscent of the Euro 2012 Clash model. The whole reflective pack has a touch of the Clash Collection about it with each silo finished in block coloured sole. The sock liners of each silo also feature skeletal graphics of the respective creature inspiration with a color cue to identify each silo even more distinctly.
