To coincide with the launch of the Tiempo V and Tiempo '94 Nike has also created the "I am Tiempo" campaign featuring Gerard Pique, Ashley Cole and Ronaldinho. The new Tiempo Legend V lands with a new design and a new no nonsense attitude that shouldn't be underestimated.

Playing on the sort of confidence and arrogance that makes players champions Nike have characterised the Tiempo as no pushover with a tough to beat exterior. If Nike were aiming to restore the Tiempo's identity by injecting it with a sense of battle and tenacity then it's job done.

Ashley Cole headlines the campaign with "Who you calling done?" The Chelsea full back boasts of his cup winning record, international caps and is adamant that there's more to come, even with his 13 years at the top. Arrogant, perhaps, but it's that mentality that has made him one of the world's best defenders and it's what Nike want the Tiempo to reflect.

Señor Pique plays on his 'nice guy' reputation with his clip "Who you calling nice?" For those of you who don't speak Spanish Pique says "Nice? You think I'm nice? We've never met on the pitch. Do you know what you need, to play centre back for Barcelona? Do you really think that only strikers win titles? Not here. I am Tiempo."

Ronaldinho, the ultimate Tiempo player and of whom the design for the Tiempo Legend V is based upon features in his clip titled "Who are you calling a star?" Ronaldinho still remains the king of first touch and the Tiempo V has been created with inspiration from his signature Dois boot.
