Tuesday saw the official unveiling of the new Nike Arsenal away strip for the 2013/14 season. After the big event which saw a huge banner featuring six of Arsenal's young English stars unveiled on the side of the Emirates, we sat down with Kieran Gibbs to talk about shirts, boots and the upcoming season.
After a stellar second half to last season that saw the Gunners rip a Champions League spot from the grasp of North London rivals Spurs on the last day, Nike and Arsenal have gone back to a yellow and blue away shirt to provide further motivation for their young side whilst out on the road.
Arsenal and England left back Kieran Gibbs is one player who hopes to do the shirt justice and follow in the footsteps of some of his footballing heroes that wore the famous colours. "Your Sol Campbell's, your Thiery Henry's, just real legends. You look at the guys and you remember how much you want to be like them, they're real winners."
